What is MixEngine AI?

MixEngine AI is a VST3/AU plugin for digital audio workstations that uses local AI (Ollama) to analyze and optimize your mixes in real time. It includes 24 genre profiles, smart hardware detection, and operates entirely on your computer without sending data to the cloud.

How does local AI work?

MixEngine AI is powered by Ollama, an AI model runtime that runs entirely on your machine. When you start the plugin, the model is loaded into memory and analyzes the audio stream in real time. No internet connection is needed for audio processing. You need a computer with at least 8 GB of RAM and a modern multi-core CPU.

What DAWs are supported?

MixEngine AI is compatible with any DAW that supports the VST3 format on Windows. This includes Ableton Live, FL Studio, Cubase, Studio One, Reaper, Logic Pro (via AU on macOS, coming soon), Bitwig Studio, and many others. macOS and Linux support is under development.

What's the difference between Free and Pro?

The Free version includes basic audio analysis with 5 genre profiles and is perfect for trying out the plugin. The Pro version (€79, one-time payment) unlocks all 24 genre profiles, advanced analysis, smart hardware detection, lifetime updates, and the ability to save custom presets. No subscriptions: one payment, yours forever.

How do I install the plugin?

Download the installer from the download page at mixengine.inonda.tv. Run the installer which will automatically copy the VST3 file to the correct folder on your system. Make sure you have Ollama installed (free download from ollama.com). Restart your DAW and MixEngine AI will appear in the plugin list.

Is my audio data sent to the cloud?

No, absolutely not. MixEngine AI processes all audio locally on your computer using Ollama. Your audio files, mixes, and sessions never leave your machine. The only communication with our servers is for license verification and downloading updates. Your music stays 100% private.

How do I upgrade to Pro?

You can purchase the Pro license directly from mixengine.inonda.tv in the Pricing section. Payment is securely handled through Stripe. After purchase, you will receive a license key via email. Enter the key in the plugin settings and all Pro features will be unlocked immediately.

Can I use my Pro license on multiple computers?

Yes, the Pro license can be activated on up to 3 computers belonging to the same user. For example, you can use it on your studio desktop and your laptop. You can manage activations from your account area at mixengine.inonda.tv, where you can also deactivate a device to free up a slot.

What if I want a refund?

You are entitled to a full refund within 14 days of purchase, in accordance with EU consumer rights regulations (Directive 2011/83/EU). No reason is required. Simply write to support@mixengine.inonda.tv with your order and we will process the refund within 14 business days.
